Beautiful Prison is a heavily stylized narrative focused around Ben, a brain damaged young man living in Mexico. After a violent accident, he awakens from a coma with a restored intellect and supernatural abilities, which allow him to control the happenings of his life. But as Ben begins to discover and take advantage of his new ‘powers’, his reality starts to get twisted: his friends transform into demons, his missing friend begins to haunt him, and his arm randomly gushes blood. Ben learns that in order to regain control over his life, he needs to revisit his past and face the horrific memories that haunt him.
